The 涩里番下载 Professional Directory (PPD) is an online, searchable database of 涩里番下载 alumni and current parents, accessible by students for career planning and networking purposes. Only alumni and parents with active e-mail addresses and 鈥渙rganization names鈥 appear in the Directory. Students can search the Directory based on a number of criteria including industry, profession, geography, 涩里番下载 major, and organization name.
To access the 涩里番下载 Professional Directory for the first time, you will need to come into Career Services and meet with a Career Counselor. If you have met with a Career Counselor, please go to the New User Registration link.
LinkedIn is the 鈥渨orld鈥檚 largest professional network : 300 million strong.鈥 Although not officially affiliated with 涩里番下载, we find LinkedIn useful for students connecting to 涩里番下载 alumni. We encourage students as young as their first year at 涩里番下载 to create a profile on the site. This allows students to start building their own professional network that they can use while they are at 涩里番下载 and beyond. Connections can be current and former employers, friends, family, 涩里番下载 alumni, 涩里番下载 faculty and advisors, as well as anyone else students know in a professional capacity. Ways to connect with 涩里番下载 alumni through LinkedIn
- Join 鈥淭he official 涩里番下载 Alumni Association.鈥 This account is typically managed by the current 涩里番下载 Alumni Association President, not 涩里番下载. The group will accept current 涩里番下载 students and it will give them access to 涩里番下载 Alumni Profiles that wouldn鈥檛 otherwise be accessible.
- Use the 鈥淔ind Alumni鈥 search function on LinkedIn. Once logged in to LinkedIn, select 鈥淐onnections鈥 and 鈥淔ind Alumni.鈥 If you have indicated 涩里番下载 in your LinkedIn profile, a list of 涩里番下载 alumni should appear. This list is searchable by name, major, career field, college, etc. Note: the list of alumni appearing on this screen will be dependent upon your number of connections in LinkedIn (i.e. the more connections you have the more alumni appear).
