Claremont, Calif. (July 21, 2022)—When the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced its 2021–22 All-Academic Team, the Pomona-ɬ�﷬���� Sagehens led the way with 494 of the 2,603 all-academic honorees from across the league. Rounding out the list of top five teams in the SCIAC were Claremont-Mudd-Scripps with 413, Chapman with 299, Redlands with 277, and Occidental with 255.

The SCIAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher and completed a calendar year at their current institution. These SCIAC student-athletes demonstrate the NCAA Division III philosophy, which places “the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of all students’ academic programs.”

ɬ�﷬���� joins with Pomona College to field 21 varsity teams –  – that compete in Division III NCAA athletics and as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). There are 10 men’s and 11 women’s teams: baseball (men), basketball, cross country, football (men), golf, lacrosse (women), soccer, softball (women), swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, volleyball (women) and water polo.
