Our Curriculum

  • Sustained engagement with communities near and far

Our Objectives

  • Ensure that global/local action and study are a part of students’ intellectual and psychosocial development.
  • Promote curricular innovation focused on global/local themes. We strive to integrate high-impact educational practices, such as immersive study abroad and community engagement, into all fields of study.
  • Provide opportunities for faculty professional development on global/local themes about:
    • Student mentorship
    • Course development
    • Research projects
  • Enhance ɬ﷬’s institutional capacity in global/local action and study through:
    • Leadership. We combine the director position with an endowed academic chair and an associate deanship.
