Welcome to your family's guide for ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ's Family Orientation & Move-in Day 2025! Below you'll find everything you need to prepare for this exciting milestone, including event schedules, what to bring, and helpful resources.

Registration
Registration is now open! We encourage families to register in advance to help us prepare for your arrival and ensure a smooth experience.
*Please do not register your incoming student as the Office of Student Affairs has already accounted for them.
Please register by August 10, 2025.
Event Overview
We are excited to welcome new families to ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ! Family Orientation and Move-in Day is your opportunity to help your student settle in, connect with other families, and learn how ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ will support them during their college journey.
The event takes place on Friday, August 16, 2025, and includes move-in support, various information sessions, affinity gatherings, and helpful resources to ease your student's transition. Whether you've experienced college move-in before or this is your first time, we're here to help you feel prepared and supported.

8 a.m.–Noon
Student Registration Move-in Time Slots
Upon arrival, families will follow their assigned move-in window based on the student’s last name:
- 8–8:45 a.m.: A–F and new Pomona ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ Athletes
- 8:45–9:30 a.m.: G–L
- 9:30–10:15 a.m.: M–R
- 10:15–11 a.m.: S–Z
8 a.m.–Noon
Family Registration + Letter to Your Student Activity

After moving in, families will visit the registration area to check in and pick up materials for the Letter to Your Student activity.

Insights to Life at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ

This engaging session introduces families to academic and co-curricular life at ɬÀï·¬ÏÂÔØ. Campus leaders will speak about Academic Advising, PASS + Strive2Thrive, Study Abroad, Career Services, the Community Engagement Center (CEC), Residence Life, and The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS).
